So a few random things, since nothing much has been going on lately. We will be going to a monkey onsen and temple this Saturday, and snowboarding Sunday if we feel up to it, so hopefully next week I’ll have some things to post!

Around the same time we went to Kawaba, the weather in Fujioka turned (relatively) nice for the first time in a long while, so we decided to take full advantage of that by playing football in the park. After awhile the guys got me to join in and tried to teach me how to throw a football. They did a pretty good job of not making fun of me… too much!

I still don’t really understand the appeal…

Just in case you’ve forgotten where you are, the bushes spell it out for you…

We went to Anzu at one point for the first time in a long time as well!

The weather hasn’t been quite as nice since, but this past weekend it was a little nicer, so Kenji and I decided (well, Kenji decided and I tagged along) to do a bit of a walking tour of Fujioka to take some pictures. I also wanted to eat, so we walked to a restaurant a bit away to eat, then meandered our way back home. Right now the plum blossoms are in bloom and really pretty! I took a number of pictures of them, maybe if I have some time Friday afternoon I can get some more!

These flowers smell the best out of all of them, though!

I’m not sure what these pink flowers are… but I like them!

We also took a trip to Takasaki to eat at a fun restaurant called “It’s Cute!”, and visited a store called Wonder Goo afterwards. Lol, WONDER GOO!

That’s pretty much all that’s been going on lately. I DID go to Takasaki (in the snow no less!) last night to pick up my reserved tickets, so I am officially on my way to Iriomote island in Okinawa during Golden Week in May! In exactly a month Kenji and I will be in Korea, and soon it will already be time to visit the states! Meanwhile, day-to-day hasn’t been super exiting. I can’t wait until spring!
